A Custom Designed Scale usually refers to the mechanical structure of the scale platform or its accessories such as columns, ramps, etc.

It could involve:
  1. a non-standard platform size or scale capacity.
  2. a custom fixture to hold parts on a scale platform or to handle hot parts.
  3. adding casters or forklift channels to make your scale portable. 
  4. Conveyor Scales.
  5. Vessel Weighing Scales (Bin, Tank, and Hopper Scales).
  6. integration with process equipment, programmable logic controllers, and computers.
  7. many other considerations.
