Also shown is the angle sensor. This adjusts the weight reading to compensate when the trailer is out of level.

The plate that rides on top of the fifth wheel is modified to weigh the front end of the tanker chassis.

Two junction boxes are provided.

One is for the front chassis assembly and the other for the rear axle assembly shown below.

The four rear axles are gauged to weigh the rear end of the tanker chassis.

The front and rear tanker chassis weights are added together at the Weight Indicator and a "Legal for Trade" weight ticket is printed on the Ticket Printer.

This design adds very little weight to the tanker chassis.
